German Style Apple Cake


Ingredients:
250 g  Butter
250 g   Sugar (hold 10g to coat apples)
1 T  Vanilla/Coffee Liquor
5  Eggs

300 g Flour
8 g Baking Powder
500 g Apples
1T Cinnamon mixed with 10 g sugar

Bake 350 for 60 minutes



Directions:
Cream butter in mixer, mix in sugar and vanilla/coffee liquor.  Cream until smooth and add eggs, mix until smooth.  Add flour and baking powder, mix until smooth.  In spring board baking pan lightly buttered and floured pour in 1/2 of mixture.  Place cored, peeled and sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar on top of batter arranged uniformly upright.  Pour remaining batter over the top and bake.  Bake at 350F for 60 minutes until nicely browned and completely baked.
